Supporting Diabetes Health with Certified Care
The Grey Bruce Diabetes program offers education, support and treatment to adults and children living with diabetes and for those who are at risk of diabetes, delivered by certified diabetes educators.
Our team includes Registered Nurses, Registered Dieticians, a Nurse Practitioner and a Social Worker. We work with endocrinologists, paediatricians and family doctors to ensure you receive the very best diabetes care.
We offer individual appointments and group education classes to help community members manage their diabetes. We provide education on:
- Being active
- Healthy Eating
- Testing your blood sugar
- Reducing your risk of complications with regular screening
- Medications for diabetes, including insulin
- Insulin pumps
